The first distillery was constructed in 1786 by the official endorsement of the His Majesty the King, near Bang Yi Khan canal on the bank of the Chao Phraya River, Later referred to as Sura Bang Yi Khan. Resulting in emerging of Thailand's first ever white spirit, "Ruang Khao", and it has been continuing to deliver top-of-mind spirit for over 200 years.
